Procedure 1- QHSE Policy And Organization

1.1 Responsibilities

The management of SP OFFSHORE GROUP is responsible for formulating the QHSE policy and in consultation determining the QHSE objectives. The QHSE policy will be reviewed annually by the Executive Board on functionality through various QHSE reports and will be adjusted if desired. The QHSE coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the QHSE policy and coordination of the QHSE tasks, the management of SP OFFSHORE GROUP has assigned coordinators for;

1.2 Quality, Safety, Health & Environment Policy Statement

The policy of SP OFFSHORE GROUP is focused on quality, health, safety and environmental care at a very high level to bring structural and permanent continuous improvement.

The coordinator is to report on their QHSE duties and responsibilities directly to the management of SP OFFSHORE GROUP. The coordinator is responsible for conducting inspections, analysis of incidents and making suggestions for improvement and ensure compliance of the QHSE requirements by SP OFFSHORE GROUP employees.

The coordinator may advise the board regarding improvements and sit in the QHSE consultation.

If necessary the QHSE coordinator relies on external expertise. The management shall ensure that the QHSE coordinator is sufficiently known within the Company and has the authority to report all incidents of any kind to the management of SP OFFSHORE GROUP.

The following assumptions apply for all of us:

  • We comply with all applicable statutory minimum requirements for the field of quality, working conditions and environment;
  • In the earliest possible stage we engage all aspects of the activities of quality, safety and environment;
  • We create an environment where we treat everyone equal and with safety and health for all and risks to the environment will be avoided;
  • We inform the Government about quality, occupational health and environmental aspects of delivering results;
  • We give priority to reducing security risks above other risks;
  • We have maintained quality, health and safety and environmental protection as an open communication at all levels, both internally and externally;
  • We make clear and verifiable agreements with the other contractors on specifications, price and delivery of our QHSE and ISO objectives;
  • We deal with any complaints thoroughly, in all reasonable nature to a settlement with the Company’s aims; We subscribe to promote sustainable, environmentally-friendly solutions;
  • We take responsibility for the environment by seeking to avoid harmful effects to the environment;
  • We ensure that all consequences for the environment have been noted and we will make sure that finding solutions and initiatives concerning environment-friendly operations will be taken;
  • Efforts will be the occurrence of accidents. Preventive activities include among others the training and instruction of any employee, maintenance of a safe working environment , recording and discussing dangers, hazards, near misses and accidents of any kind;
  • We are constantly working to improve the quality, health, safety and environmental system and the results arising from this QHSE-system; The concern for quality, safety, health and environment begins with each one of us. Everyone is responsible for a safe conduct of their duties, taking care of the environment and quality guaranteed. Management will ensure that this happens as defined above and will include support through training and information when needed.

1.3 QHSE Officers
